Can you help me plan my honeymoon?
for our honeymoon next year, we can not afford to fly somewhere. Instead, we would like to go on something like a ‘romantic getaway‘ in a resort/hotel for a few days.
any tipps/suggestions on that?websites?personal experiences?
we live in Texas and will get married in Mississippi. Do you know any good places in either state and/or Louisiana?

What are the dates? What is your budget? What are your must haves? Being the Bride you have you heart set on some kind of honeymoon and even though you think you can’t afford to fly anywhere ( and maybe you cant) You havent tried a budget conscience Travel Agent Yet!!! I’d stay away from New Orleans. Too expensive among other things. It depends on the time of year. How about the beach near South Padre Island. If you enjoy historical, try Natchez, Mississippi. The old homes there are magnificent. There are some plantation homes along the Mississippi that function as B&Bs. There are (were?) casinos along the Mississippi gulf coast.
