Help me plan my Honeymoon in Wine Country?

Can anyone suggest some fun/exciting/unique wineries and resteraunts in the Napa and/or Sonoma region of California? As you can see, it’s for our honeymoon and being from Michigan, we don’t get out to CA often, so we want to make the most of it! Thank you!!!

take a look at Yahoo! travel. They allow you to search trips that others have planned and some have great details and advice that give you an idea of what is worth doing and what you should skip. It is like searching through someones travel log for what interests you.

Check out this web site:
http://www.napavalley.com

It lists hotels, resorts, wineries, restaurants.

I have been to Napa numerous times and here are some of my fave places:
Restaurants–Brix, Martini House, Bouchon, Bistro Don Giovanni, and Mustards Grill
Wineries–Beringer, Joseph Phelps, Mondavi, Neibaum Coppola, Silverado, Silver Oak, Pine Ridge, and Hess

Buy a Fodors or Frommers travel guide, this is useful in planning which wineries you want to visit each day.
Not sure when you are going, but if you go during the harvest (late Sept through Oct) you will need to make dinner reservations far in advance.
Some of the wineries also offer tours by appointment only–be sure you check ahead of time.
Also, do not visit more than 3 or 4 different wineries each day–if you visit more than that you will never make it to dinner–you will be too tired and/or drunk possibly.

Have fun and enjoy–Napa is absoutely beautiful!

Why not visit Michigan’s wine country? Seems pointless to go out to California’s wine country when there are dozens of scenic vineyards in Michigan.
