Honeymoon payment plan?
Does anyone know of any all inclusive honeymoon packages that allow one to purchase a package months or a year in advance and pay payments towards it until the time of the honeymoon?

You can buy mine and you won’t need payments. I am selling $1200 dollars vacation gift card for $500 or best offer to pay off medical bills since I can’t take the vacation till god knows when.
Don’t finance through a company. Simply open up a new savings account and designate it as the “Honeymoon Fund” Each month deposit your “payment” into the account until you have enough. That way you don’t get charged a maintenece fee and if something happens and you have to skip a payment or take a cheaper honeymoon you don’t have angry bill collecters calling.
^Don’t do it she’s trying to scam you
just open an account and designate it
Use a travel agent, to help you with this. Since most packages come with additions. Also it is best to book
in advance to make sure you have the package you
want when you wish to go.
Some travel agencies will allow you to put a deposit down and make payments. Other than that I would recommend charging the vacation to a credit card and making payments on the card. Otherwise your best bet is just to save the old fashioned way
Congrats on your engagement!
As far as making payments, I have clients that do this all the time. A deposit (varies depending on your airfare/vendor it is booked with) is required to guarantee and lock in the space/price. After that final is due 45 days prior to departure. I usually bump my finals out though 10 – 14 days only to ensure that no reservations are ever cancelled. Some companies if a payment isn’t in on that exact date will cancel the trip. It allows me as an agent a security blanket and you as a consumer the piece of mind knowing your trip will not be cancelled.
As far as booking in a year, many times you are able to book land this far out but with the airfare those rates come out about a year in advance. Only thing is I wouldn’t purchase those a year out only because they have there initial fares and then they tend to drop down a bit, but after that the rates will only increase based on availability. How far out you should book airfare really depends on the destination. The downside is depending on the vendor, some allow you to re-create at the time of adding airfare into a package, others don’t. Then you would end up paying a published cost (usually more money) instead of an unpublished or bulk airfare. Many times you will get a discount on the air when it’s booked as a package.
The clients who make payments though will contact me either via phone or email. If you want to use the same credit card that was used initially I have clients who will email me and say “Please charge $500.00 dollars on the visa”. Then I email them to confirm and mail them a new receipt reflecting the payment. I don’t charge for doing this in anyway, it’s just I won’t call my clients up and say “Hey would you like to make a payment this month”.
Plus with a good travel specialist they can help you determine where they feel is best for your Honeymoon by asking various questions. Travel Industry is like any other, there are good & bad agents. If you find one that is “good”, but personalities don’t connect I would definitely find another only for the reason that working with an agent that not only helps you, but you enjoy working with will make the Honeymoon planning process all that much more enjoyable!
I hope this helps you, let me know if there is anything I can do further for you. Otherwise you have yourself a Fantastic Honeymoon!
