How correct it is to plan a Honeymoon in Switzerland in the month of February?

I plan to visit in the month of February for my Honeymoon, 3rd week of Feb to be precise which will be winter season over there.

So my worries are increasing as I dont want to spend most of my time stuck in hotel room because of heavy snow, neither do i want to miss out on any of the good sites.

1)How fruitful it would be to visit in Feb?
2)How should be my itenary, places i should not miss?
3)Would i miss out seing some nice places in Switzerland because of winters?
4)Will i have to remain stuck indoors because of sudden heavy snow/storm?
5)Suggest me some other countries where i can enjoy snow covered peaks in good clear weather ?

it’s freezing in february. you should come much later if you’re planning to enjoy your trip.

2)How should be my itinerary, places i should not miss?

geneva maybe?, mountains and such, countryside..weird place for a honeymoon i would say but alright.

3)Would i miss out seeing some nice places in Switzerland because of winters?

well yes…

4)Will i have to remain stuck indoors because of sudden heavy snow/storm?

well depending on where you are yes. and it’s especially very cold…

5)Suggest me some other countries where i can enjoy snow covered peaks in good clear weather ?

nepal, japan, tanzania.

i’d be you, i’d avoid switzerland at all costs. especially thinking how expensive it is there.

have a lovely honeymoon!

Yes it will be cold, but you will not be stuck inside. The swiss rail runs everyday and with no problems. They clean the streets of all the towns, so you will not be climbing over snow piles. If they get one hell of storm, maybe one day you might be in. These people are ready for snow and there are lots of things to do. Look at where you want to go, like the “Top of Europe”, if there is no view they will not sell you a ticket. You can still take the trains up parts of the mountains and see the wonderful sites. Go to Bern, Zurich, St Gallen, Locano, and on and on. You have to do some reading and then work it out. Yes, it is very $$$ here in Switzerland. Enjoy your stay and happy honeymoon
