Step 1. Have sex.
Step 2. Wait and see what happens.

Plan your honeymoon to overlap with your ovulation, two weeks after your period.

Well, do it a lot during that week. Why do you want to get pregnant on your honeymoon??

You can’t really make your body ovulate when you want it to… sorry. Just chart you periods and see when you ovulate, hopefully it lands on the same week?

Have sex…

You could take clomid to make sure you ovulate. People generally ovulate about 5 days after the last pill taken.

I would be sure to ask your doctor first, though. It would probably change your cycles.

try not to get pregnet thats what happen to my girl we where trying not to but we did.

yu can get these tests to help let you nw when you are most fertiel it takes the temputure in side your vagina and then if its right make love all night none stop and when your done stand on your head hahaha thats a joke the part about styanding on your head it is a myth

Unfortunately, unless you ovulate during that time, your chances aren’t great.

What you COULD do, is go off of birth control now(use condoms or something in the meantime) so that your body has a chance to adjust — sounds like you’re already planning to do that. Read about charting your basal body temperature (book — taking charge of your fertility or website — fertilityfriend.com). Chart your temperature for a few months to see WHEN you are ovulating and re-schedule your honeymoon to ensure you are ovulating that particular week. Aside from that, there isn’t much you CAN do!

Ditto to pupz!

I think you would have to plan your honeymoon around your cycle. I don’t think you can plan your cycle around your honeymoon. Sorry.

It all sounds like so much hassle! planning and taking this and that…

Relax, enjoy your wedding and your honeymoon and let nature take its course

First, you will need to find out when you ovulate. This varies from woman to woman, but usually happens 1 to 2 weeks after your period ends. Charting your temperature or using one of the ovulation test kits are two popular methods. You should talk with your gynecologist as well - she can give you more information and may be able to recommend some good books on the subject. Check your local library and bookstore as well for books on fertility and getting pregnant.

Once you have a good idea about when you ovulate, you will then need to plan your honeymoon around that time if you want to get pregnant on your honeymoon - your timing may mean that you need to delay your honeymoon a few weeks. Also, make sure you get regular exercise, eat healthy (VERY IMPORTANT - there are various vitamins and minerals that you need for optimal baby health), cut down on caffene and alcohol and make sure you get enough sleep (stress can wreck havoc with your system). Another thing you should do is make sure both you and your fiance get a thorough check-up, to make sure there aren’t any unknown problems that may prevent you from getting pregnant. Your gynecologist should be able to help with this as well.

Finally, and most important, once you and your fiance have done all you can to be ready - have sex. Lots of sex.

These suggestions are no guarantee, but they should maximize your chances.

If we got pregnant when we wanted to, we’d all be in the pregnancy section!

My best advice is to start charting on http://www.fertilityfriend.com in or around February. Get to know your body and when you ovulate. You may not ovulate that first week in April and there is literally nothing you can do about it….we just ovulate when we ovulate…we have no control over it. Once you start charting your cervical mucus, cervical position, using ovulation predictor kits and possibly temping,…you’ll figure out when you’re fertile and you can go from there.

Best of luck to you!

It’s very difficult to conceive on an exact day (or cluster of days), but you’re best bet is to start charting your temps now so that you know approximately when you will be ovulating. Plan your honeymoon during that week.

Remember, there is only a 26% chance of a healthy, young couple getting pregnant on a single cycle. So even if you time things just right, there is a 74% you won’t get pregnant that cycle. It is possible, though.

I’m not trying to be mean, but I know how it feels to try so hard for a baby and time everything right and still get my period month after month. It’s hard.
