I have a honeymoon planned for August 1-8th in Punta Cana, DR. What should I expect the weather to be like?
I saw online that August is a pretty heavy hurricane time for DR. Should I be worried?

Well in august it can be pretty hot, like said before, but consider that if it rains it is for 10 or 15 min and sun again! I suppose you come to this country for sun and beach and your honeymoon, so …… enjoy it!!!
Why to Punta Cana, I think Puerto Plata is 10x better for honeymooners. More fun and much to do and discover.
That’s hurricane season, so the possibility is there. Buy trip insurance that covers that possibility.
