I’m needing help, trying to plan a honeymoon in Mexico.?

My husband and I are planning our honeymoon in Mexico. We are planning it for April and were interested in seeing some of the ruins and also being able to do the beach bum thing as well. Our budget will be sort of small so we are looking for something on the cheaper side of things that is still nice and has a good atmosphere. I am looking for someone who has gone to Mexico recently and seen the ruins? Where did you go, would you recommend them and how was the trip?

here is how you do it First Class, but cheap.

First check out pleasantholidays.com for you hotel & airfare. After you have your reservation. email the hotel with your reservation #, your names & arrival & departure dates.
Second get the name of the gal who does Special Partys for the hotel & tell her you will be on your honeymoon. They will probably do something special fro you to remember this special time in your life.

Don’t get a place in Cancun. Tulum would be more what you are asking, with the ruins, etc. Be sure to book a day trip to Chitzen Itza, one of the 8 wonders of the modern world, E. of Cancun by tour bus,

Have a very happy holiday/. . .

The best way is Can Cun .Really nice and from there you can book a tour to the ruins is nice and you dont have to travel ,2 other place.

Consider some of the lesser known resorts like Manzanillo, they have beautiful beaches and are not inundated with American teenaged tourists, its the sort of place Mexicans go for vacation. If you want to see the ruins and explore , just get a vacation package to Mexico city, plenty of ruins there, and if you rent a car, the beach is about 5 hours away.
