Need help with honeymoon plans!?
This question is best for those from the South. If you could pick any town or location in the south (Let me clarify; by south I mean Louisiana, Tennessee, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama or Florida) to have a honeymoon in December, where would you go, and for what reasons? (i.e. shopping, scenery, etc.) I realize more states could be classified as Southern but I would like it to be in one of these states; thanks! Looking for romantic locations with fun attractions &/or nice restaurants.

Florida Keys would be the place I pick for a December honeymoon
Savannah GA I would also look at, it’s very pretty
If I was to go to a city, it would be Nashville, TN

depends on what your looking for. of course the beaches in florida, but you’ll have to go pretty far south to get warmer temps. What about gatlinburg or pigeon forge, tn? very pretty on this side of tn. if you’re interested in blues music, you could do the blues tour, stops in small towns in MS, not much shopping, but good music, i think it also goes to memphis (beale st). I agree with the other poster, savanah, GA is very pretty with lots of history. or, if you would be interested in a wild honeymoon, you could go to new orleans. stay in a very french hotel. good food and lots of liquor. have fun!
Daytona beach FL is nice and so is the islands of NC and SC. Just remember you will spend most of your time in the room. So planning big trips could be a problem.
Panama City Beach, Florida they have lots of shopping, nice restaurants and very relaxing.
I live in Louisiana and I have family in and visit every one of those states you mention. Also I plan honeymoons. One thing about this vacation is every person will choose a destination for many different reasons, and you will find that none of those reasons seals the deal for you.
You may find this very question that you intend to help will leave you more confused as everyone gives you their reason for each destination. To answer you question: I would choose Miami Florida.
That’s only because I love the beach and I really don’t like the cold, so if I want to enjoy myself the best place in December is Florida. There is enough for shopping from boutiques with top of the line designers to corner shops you can’t find anywhere else.
But this is the reason why I would go based on my likes. When planning your honeymoon that’s what each couple needs help with, learning exactly what they like and getting what they want.
Once you learn what will truly make your honeymoon special finding the destination becomes easier.
