We are going on a 7-day cruise: Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel. I’m so excited, this is my first cruise!
We are going on a cruise kind of for my honeymoon in the beginning of July of this year we are going to each of the following cities. We will be arriving in “the center of the city” in each place at 9am and are required to get on our bus to bring us back to the ship at 9pm the next day. And about 3 days at sea
Marselle, France
Florence, Italy
Rome, Italy
Naples, Italy
Mykonos, Greece
Istanbul, Turkey
Kusadasi (Ephesus), Turkey
Athens, Greece
Venice, Italy
In addition we will be spending 3 days in Barcelona, Spain before the cruise, and 3 days in Italy at a home I own in Tuscany and 5 days in London, England after.
I can’t wait it seems like so much fun instead of just sitting on a beach which bores the crap out of me after the first day.
We went to Maui for two weeks. We ate great food, drank great wine, played in the water, shopped, explored, and laid on the beach. We didn’t want to leave!
Im from the UK and we are going to the USA for our honeymoon. (we love it there although my fiance has only been to the east coast before!)
We will leave the UK on a monday and come back 3 and a half weeks later on a friday or saturday. We are flying into San Francisco and spending a few days there doing all the sights. From there we will go to Yosemite and stay a couple of nights there doing some cycling, walking and possibly canoeing or rafting. We’ll then go through Death Valley to Las Vegas for a few days. Will definitely be seeing the sights there and getting pampered and will watch a couple of shows as well. From there its off to see the beautiful Grand Canyon, we may spend a couple of days there not sure yet. From there we will go and spend a day at the Out of Africa wildlife park near Camp Verde and then on to Phoenix. We plan to spend a couple of days in Phoenix having a look around and exploring. We will then drive to San Diego and spend a couple of days relaxing there. Then we will do L.A and see all the sights there before travelling up to Bakersfield. We will also go to Fresno, San Simeon – to visit Hearst Castle – and Santa Barbara before driving back to either LA, San Diego or San Francisco (wherever we decide to have our return flight from).
We will see lots of attractions an some of the worlds most beautiful natural sights. There are a couple of botanical and japanese gardens that we want to visit as well as museums and historical sights throughout the trip. One of the best things about it is that although we will be doing a lot of driving between visiting all these places we will have lots of time in the car to talk and laugh together and enjoy each others company.
Its going to be the holiday of a lifetime and to me that is what a honeymoon is all about! It will be our first holiday just the two of us (friends or family have been with us on every other holiday!) as well so that makes it even more special! If i am honest im looking forward to the honeymoon a little more than the wedding cos it will just be a wonderful long time with just us two and we dont have to think about anyone else or our dogs or cats or making sure everyone else is happy or having a good time (something that is important to us regarding our wedding) plus of course we will be husband and wife! Ooooh i just cant wait for it all! lol can you tell?! x
My Husband and I went to Portugal for 10 days. :)
It was Breathtaking and so Romantic!
Since neither of us really care for tropical locations, my fiance and I are going on a 7 day Alaskan cruise. We plan on hiking on glaciers and dog sledding! We are very excited because its a new and different kind of adventure. In addition, I have never seen the pacific ocean so I am very excited.
We’re going island hopping around Tahiti & Bora Bora for 2 weeks.
Italy for two weeks! Leaving the Sunday (day right after the wedding) and starting in Venice, then on to Milan, Bellagio, Florence, and ending in Rome!
I can’t wait! :)
Going on a cruise for twelve days – Italy, Greece, Cyprus, Turkey and Egypt. Can’t wait!
Edit: Sarah A, I went on a cruise like that in November! Grand Cayman is the best, you will love it.
We are getting married in August, we are from Maine and wanted something relatively inexpensive (2 7 year olds and a 1 year old doesn’t leave a ton of money for whatever lol) We found Mountain View Grand in Whitefield, NH. Rooms were like $200 a night, its really pretty and only an hour and a half away from the kids…which is good because it will be the babies first time away from us and home.http://www.mountainviewgrand.com/
We plan on going to either Turkey or Morocco. We haven’t decided yet but we have some time before we need to make up our minds. I’m not really a “lay on the beach” type girl – we’re definitely more into culture and travelling, so we want to do something exciting that we’ll really remember.
i went to hawaii for 10 days! it was wonderful!!
