We are planning to spend our Honeymoon in Hawaii, but which Island?
I am getting married to the love of my life on June 27 and planning a honeymoon in Hawaii. I don’t really know much about Hawaii and I would appreciate any information from those who have been there. Which island is best for honeymoon (we only have 6 days)? Which hotel in $150-$200 price range? and what to do?

It really depends on what you are looking for to do on your vacation as to what island to pick. If you want to do the more touristy things then Oahu. If you want to go to an island that is more for the nature lover then Maui or the Big Island.
My husband and I went to Oahu and for us it was the right pick. There is tons of sightseeing to do such as the Pearl Harbor Monument, Diamond Head, Iolani Palace, the North Shore, Dole Plantation, the list goes on and on. We of course spent plenty of time on the beach; but my husband isn’t the type to spend all day on the beach so it was nice to have alot of sightseeing to do as well.
I would check out the travel sites such as travelocity or expedia to try and find a deal. Or check out craigslist.com. You can find deals there for people that have timeshares that want to rent our their unit I saw one ad on craiglist for a week stay at the Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk hotel which is where we stayed for $799 a week – thats a great deal! It’s a great hotel but it sits back a block from the beach which wasn’t an issue for us & you are smack dab on Lewer’s Street which has tons of shops, and restaurants.
