what is the best hotel for a honeymoon in negril, jamaica?
Planning a honeymoon in late July. Jamaica seems like the perfect place, and Negril seems to be the quietest, nicest place on the island. Is this true? Also interested in the pros/cons of all-inclusives. Probably leaning toward a non-all-inclusive – is there a good website to find those?

I went to Ocho Rios, Jamaica for my honeymoon and we stayed at Couples. I am not sure if their is one in Negril, I think there is. It was very nice and included alot of activities. I also heard Sandals was good, but didn’t include as much as Couples. Have fun! You can also go to my profile and email me if you have any questions about Jamaica or Couples Resort.
Hmmm BEST …. Well there is All-Inclusive and EP. If you plan on staying in your bed the entire time….and dont want to worry about planning for meals etc, then go All-inclusive. Some choices… Couples Negil, Swept Away, Grand Lido Negril, and of course Sandals Negril(if you want a little hedonistic excitement, then try Hedonism 2). For EP type hotels, try Trip Advisor and read their forums. There are a lot of cozy places in Negril to go. Some rustic, some expensive and some very Private villas with your own cook. Too many for me to name and its really up to what your are looking for.
WE JUST BOOKED OUR HONEYMOON AT THE COUPLES IN NEGRIL. ULTRA ALL INCLUSIVE, ONLY THING YOU PAY FOR IS SCUBA CERTIFICATION (&70 usd), EVERYTHING ELSE INCLUDED. CHECK IT OUT.
I got married in September. We went to Couples in Negril. We were to go to the one in Ocho Rios but the hurricane Ivan I think did some damage. Negril was open so we got routed there before we left the US. There are two in Negril but they are about the same. Couples have a no-children policy. Everything was included. The food was great and the service was great also. We went after the hurricane so we missed out on some amenitites. Pros–No rush to do activites–You have time for your partner. Cons—NO TV.
