What tips can you give a first time international traveler who is trying to make honeymoon plans to Amsterdam?
I am trying to plan a honeymoon in Amsterdam this July. I have never traveled internationally, and would appreciate tips on the best airfare (should I fly into a major city nearby), hotels, food, and attractions. Thanks!

Schipol Airport is your best bet. From there you can grab a train straight into Amsterdam - Central Station. Just walk out front and everything is there.
If it is only the two of you, try a hostel, they sometimes have a private room which is small but a lot cheaper than a hotel room. Considering it is your honeymoon you might just get a regular hotel room which will run you about $100 or more.
You’re going to have so much fun! Not sure about the hotels as we stay in Tilburg when we go but definitely visit the Ann Frank museum and all the others, there are many and well worth it! For food, a must is the pancake bakery, yummmy! You won’t believe what these people can do with pancakes! And also, De Prins, Indapura, and The Amsterdam Cafe. I hope you two have fun! It’s a really cool place to visit. Make sure you go for a nice romantic stroll along the canals(and a boat ride too!) and do some biking around to sight see! You can rent bikes really cheap and it really let’s you see everything. I can’t wait to go back this summer myself!! =)
Have fun and take care,
